DIY Hijab Organizer!

salaam ladies...
Are you BURIED in your hijabs? Can't seem to find the one you want?
Well I have a solution for you!
(you ladies will soon learn, I'm super corny :D)

I think I've tried about 10 ways to organize my hijabs and it seems so perfect at first but then within a few days it looks something the picture above. I FINALLY found a way that I really like! Maybe you guys can try it too! But first you'll need two things:
A sturdy hanger                              Shower Hooks/Rings
I bought both of these items at Target under 5 dollars. So first put the hooks on the hanger like so-->

After that simply pull the hijabs through the rings!

Pretty easy right? I especially love this method because I can actually see all the hijabs without rummaging through my drawer and making a big mess. One problem I did run into was I originally wanted to hang it on my closet but the weight of the hijabs kept going from one side to the other. So either you can hang it on wall hooks like I did or you can add a lot more hijabs so the rings cant move to much side to side. Another tip is I obviously did not put all my hijabs on these hanger, just the ones I wear most of the time:) I'm definitely not going to take all the credit, I saw it on pinterest or some website which I cannot remember and finally decided to implement it.

I hope this helps with your hijab problems, it definitely helped me!! :)

Next Post: So I am very excited about my next post called: Taraweeh/Ramadan Outfits! I'll be featuring some of my friends as well for some different looks besides mine. InshAllah I plan to post it by the end of the week :D

until next time..

keep it organized:)

Triple Threat

salaam! every girl needs certain items in her closet. here are 3 items I feel can be thrown on anything and everything. enjoy:)

1. Blazer
Button up cheetah top: Cotton On
Blazer: H&M
Scarf: Forever 21
Black Skinnys: H&M
Bag: Aldo
Nude Pumps: Target
This light pink/nude shade blazer is a must have in any girls closet. You can throw it on a tee, maxi, skirt, blouse or button up! I paired it with a blouse for a night out with the girls for my friends birthday. Here are some ways celebrities have worn blazers (all taken from google)

2. Jean Jacket!

You can put it on anything and everything. My jacket is from H&M and I absolutely love it. I mostly wear it on maxi dresses but can be worn in many ways. Here are some different ways celebrities have worn it.

3. Leather Jacket
(via pinterest)
Every girl NEEDS to invest in a black leather jacket. This is probably my favorite way to wear it is of course with a maxi but you can throw it on a plain white tee and jeans or any dress. This look is a perfect combination of hard and soft. The leather jacket adds a little edge to the look. A variety of them can be found in H&M, Forever 21 and where I got mine: Urban Outfitters!

The best thing about these 3 items is that they can be worn in all seasons and be thrown on basically anything. If you haven't already, definitely invest in these :)

Thats it for now, and remember..

keep it sophisticated.

Graphic Tee Fun

Lately I've been loving graphic tees. I like how they add some character to your outfit and you can even dress it up or down. The one below is my favorite one and I was so excited when my little 13 year old sister discovered it at forever! I recently bought Red jeans from Kohls and I cannot wait to pair it with this hoodie this coming fall :)

Graphic Hoodie: Forever 21
Jean Button up: H&M
Ring: H&M

And again you can dress it up with a blazer as well. If your not into skinny jeans then this looks just as cute with a maxi skirt!

T-shirt fun

Thats it for now. Hope your fasting is going well..

and remember

keep it classy.

Tribal! Tribal!

salaam and happy jummah!

Tribal print is everywhere!! I absolutely love this print and love pairing it with hijab. It gives a little edge and something new besides animal prints :)
Tribal Maxi: Urban Outfitters
Leather Jacket: Urban Outfitters
Tan Bag: H&M
I fell in love with this dress when I saw it at Urban Outfitters and bought it instantly!  It was a little chilly that day so I paired it with a leather jacket--one of my favorite pieces. This is a perfect casual day outfit such as going out to lunch. If you want to convert it to night time I would suggest dressing it up with a blazer and some more accessories.

Shirt, Skirt & Scarf: Forever 21
Another way to add tribal is with a tribal hijab!  This one is from forever 21 and I paired it with a loose top and a flowy black skirt. It was about 90 degrees that day, so I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. This would also be a perfect casual day outfit.

Here are some other tribal scarves I have..maybe I got a little too excited with this print :)
The scarf all the way on the left I bought from an online FB store called The Taffeta Tree. She has amazing scarves with good quality and amazing prices! Check her out. The middle one as I mentioned is from Forever. And lastly the one on the right I got from a small boutique in the mall but I recently saw it again at Kohls.

Lastly, a good way to add tribal to your outfit without it being too flashy is in jewelry or shoes. I don't own many myself but you can find a variety of them at Forever 21 and H&M. The ones below are all from forever.

alright ladies thats the end of my post for kinda came out longer then I expected. hope you enjoyed:)

and remember..

keep it simple.

First post!

Salaam everyone :)

Welcome to my hijab fashion blog! :) I've wanted to start a blog for a while and now finally came around to it. There are a few reasons why I've wanted to start a fashion blog but the main reason is because I want to share how I think hijabis can still be fashionable while maintaining modesty. This does not mean I represent Islam as a whole but merely try to implement it in everything I do including my appearance.

I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I'll enjoy posting:) For the first few days I am going to post some old pictures I have and slowly add new ones!

And remember...must not just dress modestly but behave modestly.
